Booking an Appointment
Please do not submit appointment requests through the Practice email address.
08:00 -18:30 – Anima open Monday – Friday (from 01st Oct 2025)
Anima is open 08:00 – 18:30 Monday – Friday, for all GP and Advanced Nurse Practitioner requests.
Once the Practice has reached capacity ( i.e no more appointments available for the day with a GP or Nurse Practitioner). You will see a message on Anima informing you of this. The message will state
" The Practice has now reached full capacity for today and we are unable to offer any further appointments. If urgent then please contact NHS 111, Attend Urgent Care or A&E. or call 999"
Admin requests and Repeat medications can still be submitted throughout the core hours. We also would advise patients to sign up for the NHS App for repeat medication ordering.
If you attend the reception desk at 8am, you will be asked to submit via Anima and will be directed to this service , you will not be seen any quicker by attending as your request will still need to be triaged.
What if I do not have access to Anima ?
We are still asking patients to submit requests via Anima and we will continue to assist all patients who do not have access via the telephone whilst we have capacity on the day.
Cancel/Change Appointment
Please inform the reception staff by cancelling appointments online via the NHS app or via Anima, you can also cancel via our phone system.
If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend you will be informed via text message or letter. Persistent defaulters may be removed from being registered at the practice.
Please try to give us at least 24 hours notice if possible as we would then be able to offer the appointment to someone else. Appointments cancelled short notice means we often are unable to fill the appointment slot short notice, so patients will be marked as a DNA reason given on these occasions.
Enhanced Access available
East Lindsey Primary Care Network will be providing extended access appointments Monday to Friday 6:30pm to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm. These appointments will be a mix of face to face and telephone and with a range of clinical staff.
Appointments are pre-bookable and patients should contact the Surgery through Anima where possible.
