Booking an Appointment

07:45 -10:00 – Anima open Monday – Friday

Anima  is open 07:45 – 10:00  Monday – Friday, for all GP and Advanced Nurse Practitioner requests, to avoid the initial 8 am rush.  The phone lines and practice opening time remain the same at 8am.

This will allow the person triaging more time to ensure those with greater clinical need are allocated the earliest opportunity to be seen I.e., Same day appointments or it may mean an appointment at a later date.

We also advise that even if you attend the reception desk at 8am, your request will still be triaged.

After 10:00

After 10:00 when Anima  is closed and you feel that you need a same day urgent appointment, then please contact the surgery and one of the team will assist. The team will submit your request for the clinician to triage.

Can I submit anything when it’s closed after 10:00?

Sick Note requests, Medication requests, Practice Nurse appointment requests, change of details, Travel vaccinations and cancelling appointments. These will be dealt with during normal working hours 08:00 to 18:30 Monday to Friday.

What if I do not have access to Anima ?

We are still asking patients to submit requests via Anima and we will continue to assist all patients who do not have access via the telephone.

Please do not submit appointment requests through the Practice email address.

Cancel/Change Appointment

Please inform the reception staff by cancelling appointments online via the NHS app or via Anima, you can also cancel via our phone system.

If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend you will be informed via text message or letter.  Persistent defaulters may be removed from being registered at the practice.

Please try to give us at least 24 hours notice if possible as we would then be able to offer the appointment to someone else.

Enhanced Access available

East Lindsey Primary Care Network will be providing extended access appointments Monday to Friday 6:30pm to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm. These appointments will be a mix of face to face and telephone and with a range of clinical staff.

Appointments are pre-bookable and patients should contact the Surgery through Anima  where possible.
